Election 2016

General Info

On November 22, Newfoundland and Labrador’s English School District (NLESD) and le Conseil scolaire francophone provincial de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador (CSFP) will hold concurrent elections, where local trustees will be selected to represent school communities on matters relating to education and the province’s school system.

There will be 1 trustees elected per trustee zone for a total of 17 Trustees elected for the Board of Trustees for NLESD. The CSFP will have 2 trustees per Zones and 3 At Large trustees for a total of 9 Trustees elected for the CSFP.

This will be the first election for the NLESD since 2009 and the first election to use direct voting for CSFP.
